Prepping for our Sweetest Season – 16 Years

The tents are being dusted off, the banners are going up, and that familiar scene of fresh produce, local foods and seasonal blooms is returning to the Heights!

As we kick off our 16th season at Riverview-Fisk Park, we’ve been looking back at the incredible memories from last year—the lively events, the crowded picnic blankets, and the smiling faces at our community tables. This upcoming season is shaping up to be our most vibrant one yet.

Our season runs from Sunday, May 3 through Sunday, November 22, 2026. Here’s what you can look forward to at the Riverview Farmers Market this year.

Familiar Faces & Fresh Arrivals

We are thrilled to welcome back the “returning favorites” who have become the backbone of our Sundays. From the farm-fresh bounty of RH Farms, Natures Own, Stony Hill and Alstede Farms and the artisanal loaves of Jed’s Bread, to the market-day treat of Jane’s Matcha, your weekly staples are back in stock.

We’re thrilled to see many of the new additions from last season back again at Riverview, including Flowering Sun, now with an expanded mushroom selection, and Grand Cru, who will be bringing more variety of produce. Our farm selection is second to none in the city.

But that’s not all! We’ve added several new vendors to our roster this year, carefully selected for their commitment to sustainability and local sourcing. Whether you’re looking for vegan cheeses, sauces & pasta from Earth’s Garden, a morning nosh from Little Bagel, or fresh green goodness from New Leaf Flavors (microgreens) there is something new to discover every single Sunday.

A Season of Celebration: 2026 Event Lineup

The market is more than just a place to shop; it’s the heart of our community. We have a packed schedule of keystone events that celebrate the best of every season:

  • Opening Day (May 3): Join us as we officially launch our 16th season!
  • Sustainability Day (June 14): Learn how to live a little greener with local experts and eco-friendly vendors.
  • Peach Pie Contest & Festival (August 2): Our annual amateur baking showdown. Come for the competition, stay for the free samples!
  • Fall Harvest Festival (September 20): Celebrate the change of seasons with live music, crafts, and the best of the autumn harvest.
  • Day of the Dead Celebration (November 1): Our signature event featuring the giant skeleton puppet parade, Mariachi music, and traditional Mexican folk dancers.
  • Heights Holiday Market (December 5): Wrap up the year at our massive holiday village featuring 150+ local makers and a festive “food court”. Please note: This is a post-market season event, but still a community favorite nonetheless.

Sundays are for Music, Food and Family

Don’t forget that we’ll have free Art & Music for at least 2 Sundays per month. We feature Live Music at our big events, and DJ music on other Sundays. Plus, we’re continuing our commitment to family-friendly programming with free Arts & Crafts for kids and adults alike, three times a month, on 1st, 2nd and 4th Sundays. It’s the perfect backdrop for a morning stroll or a park picnic with a view. Check our calendar for more information and follow us on Instagram for updates.
