Farms In The Heights strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. Farms In The Heights has invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure that its website and physical location is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.

Specific ADA Non-Discrimination Policy

Farms in the Heights is committed to ADA Compliance at our market and in our programming. Farms in the Heights does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission or access to, treatment of or employment in, its services, programs or activities. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Farms in the  Heights will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in all Riverview Farmers Market programs, services,  and activities, and will make all reasonable efforts to make information and communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, physical, cognitive or vision impairments. 

Farms in the Heights has a designated coordinator to facilitate compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), as required by Section 35.107 of the U.S. Department of Justice regulations, and to coordinate compliance with Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
