Heights Holiday Market returns for second season

Following the first installment of the Heights Holiday Market in 2022, Farms in the Heights has announced that it will be returning for the 2023 season. Applications are now open for local artisans and vendors to apply to be part of this year’s outdoor Holiday market, the first of its kind in Jersey City Heights. The market will be held on Saturday, December 2, at Riverview Park (rain or shine).

While the weather is always a gamble, Farms in the Heights Board President Rachel Meyers says that it’s also part of the excitement. “There’s something really special about outdoor markets and connecting with the community while there’s a chill in the air. It not only adds to the ambience, but also the Holiday spirit.”

Vendors and patrons agreed, with many of them citing the wonderful energy, friendliness of staff and shoppers, and variety of activities as their favorite parts of the day.

While planning is still underway for this year’s event, visitors can count on the return of Holiday music, Santa’s workshop, and lots of local craft vendor options.
