JC Heights Resident Marisa Monopoli Runs Away With 2025 Peach Pie Contest Title

Congratulations to the winner of Riverview Farmers Market’s 12th Annual Peach Pie Contest Marisa Monopoli whose “Paisan Peach Pie” was the only pie to score over 4 points (out of 5) in Sunday’s contest! Below she is pictured (center) with the judges panel, which includes Courtney Reed of Lady Flavor Bakes, Jeremy Schneider of NJ.com, Michael Rivera of Talula’s Pizza, and Jaimie Brown of Choc O Pain Bakery.

For the past 12 years, Riverview Farmers Market has been hosting the Peach Pie Contest & Festival to celebrate peach season in New Jersey. The contest is open to amateur bakers only and bakers must use New Jersey peaches for their submission. New Jersey often ranks in the top 5 peach producers in the nation and has more than 5500 acres of peach farms across the state.
