CALLING ALL BAKERS! Enter the Contest

If you’re an amateur baker and want to join in the fun, please fill out this registration form here to enter the contest. You’ll need to bring your pie to the market somewhere between 10:30 am and 12 noon on the day of the Contest. We have 4 judges pulled from the Jersey City community, well-known chefs and other local celebrities. Each pie will be brought to the judges and they’ll rate the pies on taste, crust, filling, appearance and creativity.

Once the pies have been viewed and tasted by the judges, we’ll cut up the remainder of the pies and hand samples out to the public. It’s a traditional part of our peach pie contest, and our patrons love it! We are grateful to our bakers for being so generous with their baked goods.

We’ll have prizes for the top 3 contestants. The prizes each year total >$850 in merchandise and gift certificates across three baskets (typically $500+ for first place, >$250 for second place and >$100 for third place). We are grateful to our vendors, our sponsors and our partners in the area for donating such amazing basket stuffers. Winners also get featured on the market’s social media pages.
